Dr. Syema Imran Sheikh is a board certified neurologist. She specializes in general neurology, neurophysiology and sleep medicine.
Dr. Sheikh received a Bachelor of Arts degree in neuropsychology from Northwestern University. She subsequently earned her Doctorate in Medicine at Chicago Medical School. She then continued her medical training at the University of Chicago, where she completed a residency in Neurology and fellowships in Clinical Neurophysiology and Sleep Medicine. During residency, Dr. Sheikh served as the Chief Resident of University of Chicago’s Neurology training program.
Dr. Sheikh’s extensive training has nurtured her philosophy towards patient care. She realizes that the effects and circumstances of each patient’s neurologic disease are unique and multifactorial.
When not caring for her patients, Dr. Sheikh enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and exploring Chicago’s restaurant scene.
