Dr. Sahay recognizes and understands how each woman is unique and requires individualized care by a specialist who understands the evolution of neurological and psychological conditions. She also understands how medication, age, hormones, pregnancy, and perimenopause can impact neurological and psychological conditions. She is highly skilled in evaluating medication considerations to ensure alignment with a woman’s phase in life, such as pre-pregnancy planning and medications to avoid if planning to become pregnant. Dr. Sahay sees both male and female patients in her general neurology practice and specialty areas of headache, neuromuscular and epilepsy. Additionally, within her women’s health specialty, she also provides supportive and affirming care for patients who have transitioned.
