Sanford Sherman, M.D.

Dr. Sanford Sherman was born and raised in Chicago. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his Medical Degree from Rush University Medical School. He interned in Internal Medicine at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center and he completed his Residency in Neurology and Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Sherman has practiced at Northwest Neurology since 1988. He practices General Neurology and sees patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. He helped develop and is the Physician Director of the award winning stroke program at St. Alexius Medical Center, and serves as a member of the Neurosciences Advisory Board of the Alexian Brothers Health Network.
